Mosquito Control Chantilly
Chantilly is a small town located in the western part of Fairfax county Virginia, and has a number of historic sites and parks including Ellanor C. Lawrence Park and Flat Lick Stream Valley Park. It is also home to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, which is part of the National Air and Space Museum, plus the National Reconnaissance office is located here too. Chantilly has a population of 23,309, which allows it to enjoy the atmosphere of being a small town while it is still located close to big cities like Washington DC. Chantilly has a temperate climate that has mild winters and hot, humid summers making it a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes and other insects that can be annoying during the warmer months. The mosquitoes that are prevalent in Chantilly can not only be annoying, but they are also dangerous when you consider they are carriers of West Nile Virus, which was recently found in Fairfax county. If you want to spend time outside in the evenings, but the insects are keeping you inside, you should contact the mosquito control experts at Mosquito Tek who can help keep your home free from mosquitoes and protect your family from the diseases that they carry.
Eliminate Mosquitoes Where they Breed
If you really want to eliminate mosquitoes from your property, you need to do more than spray for the adult mosquitoes, which is why Mosquito Tek includes larvicide treatments as part of every mosquito service. Trained technicians will inspect your property and identify areas with standing water and empty containers where water collects, and apply a larvicide to locations where water exists naturally, such as in ponds or river and creek pooling areas. The larvacide will not affect other aquatic insects, nor will it harm any aquatic life or plants.
Conventional and Organic Mosquito Treatments
Customers have two safe and effective options to choose from when having mosquito treatments done. The organic mosquito control option is NOP compliant and it is safe to use around organic gardens, or in areas where safety is a major concern, such as around outdoor dining at restaurants, daycare centers, or assisted living facility grounds. The all natural treatment is not only completely safe, bit it’s also effective for up to fourteen days. For those that have a high amount of mosquitoes on their property and want to take the most effective route possible, then there’s the conventional mosquito extermination option which has strongest mosquito knockdown on the market and will last for up to twenty-one days. It is also safe to use around your family, pets, plants, and local wildlife.
Optional Tick Control Treatments
Mosquito Tek offers an affordable tick control treatment option with every mosquito control treatment, which will also eliminate ticks from around your property. This will give you and your pets an extra layer of protection from the nuisance of fleas, and will also protect from being bitten by ticks that sometimes carry diseases like Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. The tick control treatment can be purchased either as an upgrade to the mosquito control service, or it can be purchased as an individual treatment without the mosquito extermination plan.
